Level Process Control

A level process control system is widely used in various industries. It enables massive production in continuous processes like oil refining, chemicals, paper manufacturing, and power plants. It also enables automation where a small operating personnel staff can run a compound process from the main control room.

A commonly used level process control device is the programmable logic controller (PLC). It is mainly used to read a set of analog and digital inputs, generate a set of digital and analog outputs, and apply a logic statements set.

Note that a level process control is aimed at eliminating human errors thus ensuring uniformity of products. The level of complexity may vary from simple temperature controllers to a complete plant control system. In either case, the feedback from various stages guarantees the right quantity of materials is processed.

This system is increasingly helping the petrochemical and manufacturing companies improve the quality of their products, capital productivity as the environment.
