Process Automation Control

Process automation control system is a system designed such that it automatically controls a process. It measures the actual performance, compares it with the desired performance and takes a corrective action aimed at bringing the process back to optimal performance levels in case deviations are noted.

Process automation control is the lowest level of automation while manufacturing execution system is superior to it. It entails application of computer technology and software engineering expertise to enable companies as dynamic as paper mill, cement and mining operate efficiently and safely.

In process automation, a computer program uses measured data to show how a process is working and to simulate alternative operating mode and thereafter choose the optimal operating mode for the process under control. An essential feature of the automation software is its ability to predict trends and to learn. Helping speed up the response time to varying conditions
