Stephanopoulos Process Control

The book entitled “Chemical Process Control” by George Stephanopoulos is one of the best-regarded materials on process control available. Many universities use it as a textbook to teach the subject and although it is a bit old now, it still has a lot of relevant information.

George Stephanopoulos has written a lot of books on chemical engineering. Stephanopoulos process control is one of his works. Being a professor, he knows his field well and has written in a way that many newcomers to the fields can understand.

Stephanopoulos process control is a good introductory book to beginners, as it is straight-to-the-point and easy to understand with clearly written instructions and explanations. However, this also makes it a little bit too general and some may wish to know a little bit more than is covered there, but it is still great for starting out.

It talks about control schemes, control systems, analysis, process modeling and processing systems, meaning almost everything related to process control and therefore Stephanopoulos process control is great to choose when wishing to get familiar with these topics.
